Speaking Skills
Students will be able to use relative clauses orally.
Activity Description: Model the activity by telling students that you are going to describe nouns using restrictive relative clauses and that they are to guess who or what the noun is. For example, tell students that you are thinking of “a liquid that is black.” The correct answer is “coffee.” Let the students guess. If the students are not able to guess correctly, expand the statement, for example, “a liquid that is black and can be drunk with milk.”
