TESOL Announces 2024 Presidential Award Recipient

Alexandria, Va. (April 24, 2024) – TESOL International Association (TESOL) is pleased to recognize Dr. Robert Phillipson, professor emeritus in the Department of Management, Society and Communication at Copenhagen Business School in Denmark, as the TESOL 2024 Presidential Award recipient.  

TESOL 2023-2024 President Shelley K. Taylor announced the award at the recent TESOL 2024 International Convention & Expo in Tampa, Florida, USA. She shared, “His wealth of experience and knowledge enable him to ‘talk the talk and walk the walk’ as teacher of the English language, language learner, language policy researcher, immigrant, activist, humanitarian, and friend.
