Message About LA Fires

Our hearts are with the thousands of individuals and families affected by the devastating wildfires in the Los Angeles area. We want to reassure you that the fires are not currently near the TESOL 2025 convention site in Long Beach or the LAX Airport. We will continue to monitor the situation and communicate any changes to our current and prospective attendees.

TESOL is actively reaching out to our members in the region, and we are committed to supporting the affected communities. Leading up to and during the convention, we will provide opportunities for you to help make a difference.

In the meantime, we encourage you to contribute to the relief efforts by giving what you can to trusted organizations like the Red Cross and to view the resources at https://www.californiavolunteers.ca.gov/wildfire-recovery/ and https://www.philanthropyca.org/2025-california-disaster-response. Together, we can offer hope and support to those who need it most.
