Emerging Educational Technologies in TESOL: Exploring Research in Diverse Contexts (Research-Mentoring Workshop)

Thursday, 20 March, 9 am–11 am PT

In this workshop, the TESOL Research Directions will be introduced as a framework for TESOL practitioners to explore emerging educational technologies in relation to their own research priorities, and work on research questions that are relevant to their contexts. Attendees will also discover resources that are available to them in the TESOL community while engaging in and with research on this topic.

We are glad to host the following speakers at this event: Justin Shewell, David Nunan, and Kaye Reynolds. Speakers will talk about engaging TESOLers with research related to the recent Research Directions and help the attendees formulate their own research questions based on these directions. You are encouraged to bring your own research questions to discuss with our speakers during this workshop.
