TESOL members in good standing who are currently practicing English language teachers, teacher trainers, or supervisors with at least 5 years of experience working in a setting where English is taught as a foreign or additional language (EFL/EAL).
Professionals working in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand, are not eligible for this award.
Preference is given to applicants who have never attended a TESOL International Convention & English Language Expo.
IMPORTANT: On the basis of the best information currently available to the United States Department of the Treasury, the following countries require or may require participation in, or cooperation with, an international boycott (within the meaning of section 999(b)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986). The countries are Iraq, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, and Yemen.
